Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable logistics coordinator to be responsible for the preparation and management of company purchase orders and sales orders. This position reports to the Logistics Manager to efficiently handle all in-bound and out-bound shipments as well as assist in daily operations.
Job Details:
• This is a full-time position
• Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:30pm
• This is an hourly position
• No travel is expected for this position
• Logistics experience preferred
Responsibilities:
• Managing distribution and shipment budgets
• Coordinating with transportation partners/vendors to track the movements of shipments
• Reviewing purchase orders and sales orders to ensure accuracy and fixing shipment errors
• Responding and following up with all inquiries (written and verbal) for vendors and customers related to purchase orders and sales orders
• Working closely with the Warehouse Management team to manage inventory levels as needed
• Communicating efficiently with: receiving, shipping, sales, accounting, and front office teams to ensure consistent workflow
• Helping with the establishing, developing, and maintaining of positive business relationships with customers and vendors
• Assisting the Logistics Manager with daily operations tasks as needed
